The competition aims to:
- Activate various segments of society to contribute to enhancing traffic safety measures to reduce traffic accidents
- Involve government units, civil institutions, private sector, and community members to cooperate in spreading traffic awareness
- Encourage civil institutions and private sector to train road users and implement projects serving traffic safety
- Highlight efforts made by government units, civil institutions, private sector, and individuals in reducing traffic accidents
Competition areas for Wilayats include:
- Conducting activities and events aimed at spreading traffic awareness in the Wilayat
- Implementing projects that serve the community and enhance traffic safety measures
- Preparing and implementing programs and materials for traffic awareness in the Wilayat
- Addressing negative phenomena causing traffic accidents
- Activating various segments of society to contribute to reducing traffic accidents
- Any other work contributing to reducing traffic accidents
Competition areas for government units, civil institutions, and private sector include:
- Establishing projects serving the community and contributing to reducing traffic accidents
- Preparing and implementing materials and programs to spread awareness and traffic education effectively
- Contributing to training and qualifying road users in traffic safety
- Spreading traffic safety culture and consolidating its requirements for employees to achieve tangible results
- Setting controls and creating mechanisms that effectively contribute to enhancing traffic safety measures
- Any other work implemented within the framework of the competition's general objectives
Competition areas for individuals include:
- Conducting work to spread traffic awareness to reduce traffic accidents for community members
- Innovating awareness programs, materials, or technologies in traffic safety that are implementable in reality
- Any other initiatives contributing to reducing traffic accidents that have been implemented or are being worked on
Participations must meet the following conditions:
- Participating works must have clear objectives
- Participations must be consistent with the competition's objectives, areas, and conditions
- Participating works must be implemented and have an impact in reducing traffic accidents
Participations that do not meet these conditions may be excluded
Yes, the main competition committee has the right to exclude any participation at any stage if it does not comply with the objectives and areas or does not meet the competition conditions.
Yes, the main committee has the right to withhold prizes from any positions in all competition categories if it deems that participations did not achieve the required level.
The Royal Oman Police retains the rights to republish participations, and has the right to use all works submitted to the competition for spreading traffic awareness and enhancing safety.
An implemented project is a project or initiative that has been actually applied in reality and achieved tangible results that can be measured and proven in the field of traffic safety. Theoretical ideas that have not been implemented are not accepted.
Registration & Login
Login is through the Royal Oman Police electronic authentication system. When you click "Login", you will be directed to the official police portal to enter your credentials securely. After verifying your identity, you will be redirected directly to your dashboard.
No need to create a new account - just use your official credentials
Yes! You can add an extra layer of protection to your account. From the dashboard, go to "Account Settings" and you can enable an additional password. This step is optional but recommended for extra security.
If you forget your additional password, you can contact technical support at +968 24510 858 or via email info@rop.gov.om and you will be helped to recover access to your account after verifying your identity.
Yes, the platform is compatible with all devices (computer, phone, tablet). You can log in and work on your participation from anywhere at any time.
Competition Participation
The competition is open to two categories:
- Individuals: Omani citizens and residents
- Entities: Wilayats, government institutions, private institutions, associations
From the dashboard, click on the "New Participation" card. You will find a comprehensive registration form containing all required fields. Fill in the data carefully, attach necessary documents, then click "Submit".
Yes, you can submit more than one project, but you must fill out a separate registration form for each project. Each project will be evaluated independently.
New project: An idea or initiative being introduced for the first time in traffic safety.
Developed project: An improvement or expansion of an already existing project that achieved previous provable results.
Yes, you can edit before evaluation begins. From the dashboard, go to "My Participations" and select the participation you want to edit. After evaluation begins by supervisors, editing will not be available.
Fields marked with (*) or described as "(required)" are mandatory. Other fields are optional but it's preferable to fill them to provide more accurate and comprehensive information about your project.
Files & Attachments
Accepted formats are:
- Documents: PDF only (authorization proof, reports, plans)
- Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG
- Video: MP4
Please verify the format before uploading to avoid error messages
The maximum size per file varies by type:
- PDF files: up to 10 MB
- Images: up to 5 MB
- Video: up to 50 MB
The "Authorization Proof" field appears only for entities, not individuals. If it appears by mistake:
- Make sure you selected "Individual" at the beginning of the form
- Refresh the page (F5)
- If the problem persists, contact technical support
Yes, but you must convert it to PDF first before uploading. You can use PowerPoint itself to save the presentation as a PDF file from the "Save As" option.
Evaluation & Results
Evaluation is based on four main axes:
- Innovation and creativity
- Feasibility and practical application
- Expected impact
- Clarity and presentation
Each axis is evaluated on a scale of 1 to 10 points.
From the dashboard, go to "My Participations" and you will find the status of each participation:
- Request received: Your participation was successfully received
- Under evaluation: Supervisors are evaluating the project
- Evaluation completed: Evaluation is finished and you can view the result
Final results will be announced after the evaluation period ends according to the announced timeline. Finalists will be notified via:
- Registered email
- Registered phone number
- Platform dashboard
- Royal Oman Police official website

General Information
The competition will close at the final deadline for submitting participations, and an email will be sent to those registered on the traffic competition platform. Make sure to submit your participation before the deadline, as no participations will be accepted after the period ends.
No, participation is completely free. This competition is sponsored by the Royal Oman Police and there are no fees for registration or participation.
Yes. Residents can participate in the individuals category. The entities category is open to officially registered companies and institutions in the Sultanate of Oman regardless of the representative's nationality.
Winning projects will receive monetary prizes, certificates of appreciation, and support for implementing promising projects. Winners will also be honored in an official ceremony.
Yes, the platform is protected with the highest security standards:

- No data sharing with third parties

Yes, you can delete your participation before evaluation begins. After evaluation begins, deletion is not possible but you can withdraw by submitting a formal request to technical support.
